For my poison green witch fingers, add flour, soft butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks and some salt to the bowl of your food processor and knead into a homogenous dough. Of course you should not forget the most important thing: green food colouring. Add the powder to the dough so that the witch fingers get their beautiful and eerie green colour.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for about an hour. After this rest period, you can keep working with it. Divide it into 25 even balls and then mold them into a finger shape. To attach the fingernail to the dough, press the cookie dough at the front end before baking. This will allow you to better fix the almonds later. To make them a little more scary, you can now add a few wrinkles with a knife or a similar pointed object.
Place the crispy fingers on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let them chill again for about an hour later in the refrigerator so that they do not melt during baking. Just before the rest period is over, you can preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Then let the witch fingers bake on the middle rack for about 15 minutes. To give the biscuits the last scary touch, melt a little chocolate. Put the chocolate on the places where you want to fix the nails and press the almonds onto it. In the VitAir, you can bake the witch finger biscuits at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Have fun!
