Football Muffins

My chocolate muffins have a wonderful, airy and tender consistency, taste absolutely chocolaty and can be prepared relatively quickly and without much effort. This time around, I added a few subtleties to my muffin recipe and gave them a football decoration.

Anleitung

  1. Prepare your muffin cups or muffin tray. If you are using a muffin tray, place a baking-proof paper muffin liner in each slot. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Of course you can also bake the muffins in the VitAir - without unnecessary preheating.
  2. Prep the dark chocolate by chopping it with a knife into pieces. Mix the flour with a pinch of salt, the cocoa and the teaspoon of baking powder in a bowl. In a second mixing bowl, first mix the soft butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Now add the eggs and stir the batter until a frothy mass has formed. Finally, add the milk and stir everything to a homogeneous mass. Now fold the prepared flour mixture into the wet ingredients and stir it continuously until all the ingredients have evenly mixed.
  3. Finally add the chopped chocolate pieces to the batter and stir well with a spoon. Now pour the batter into the muffin cups or the muffin tin and bake the muffins on the middle rail of the oven at top / bottom heat for about 20 minutes. In the VitAir, bake the muffins on the low grill stage for about 25 minutes.
  4. To give the muffins a football look, first you have to colour the grated coconut with green food colouring. Then stir 150 grams of powdered sugar with two to three tablespoons of lemon juice and spread the icing on the already-cooled muffins. Sprinkle the frosting with the green grated rasps - now the muffins are finished with a green turf topping.
