Beef Steak with Lettuce

To make especially tender and juicy beef steak, it is not only important to have good quality meat, but also to ensure the most uniform heat distribution possible. The steak cage of the VitAir hot air fryer is therefore a safe choice: the constant rotation of the steak cage dissipates the heat much more evenly than in a pan.

- ca 360 g packet of beef steak [2x 180g]
- 1 packet herb butter
- 2 sprigs of rosemary & thyme
- 150 g lettuce
- 20 ml dark balsamic acid
- 50 ml olive oil
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp honey
- salt
- Pepper
Anleitung
- First, wash the two steaks and then let them drip dry. Rub the meat with a small amount of vegetable oil and then place it in the steak cage of the VitAir hot air fryer. Distribute the rosemary and thyme twigs over the steaks and then close the steak cage so that it sits snug and tight against the meat.
- Set the Steamer program of the VitAir and let the steak grill for between 8 and 13 minutes, depending on the desired degree of browning. Thanks to the constant rotation of the steak cage, the steak will brown evenly.
- In the meantime you can take care of the salad. Wash the lettuce and shake dry. For the dressing, mix together the vinegar, mustard, honey, pepper and salt along with the olive oil.
- When the steaks are done, all you have to do is cut the herb butter into pieces and serve the tender, juicy meat with the flavoured butter. Spread the salad on the plates and serve the whole thing with the dressing. Bon appetit!
